Ningbo Yongxin has established city R&D center with more than 40 technicians and proper personnel structure. The center has established good cooperation with domestic first-class research institutions: Tsinghua University,  Jilin University and National Digital Technology Research Center and has been the practice base for postgraduates from Department of Automotive Engineering of Tsinghua University; as well as, the center has retained professors from Tsinghua University and Jilin University as technical adviser to solve the technical bottlenecks in enterprise development and to train center technicians from time to time.

In recent years, the center has completed one national torch plan, obtained one national innovation fund and one local key technologies R&D programme and nearly twenty city industrial new products.
